Glanza V Ep91 help

Hello mates I am new member trying to get some help, I have a 97 Starlet Glanza V and My car is not starting up one thing I noticed is that the volt gauge shows usual voltage but when starting up shows like battery is dead ( so I am charging the battery now) another thing I noticed is that when ignition on the check light is not lighting up I remembered that this light when the ignition on is lighted up but now is not showing and my car is not starting I hope when the battery is fully charged It will start but not sure ...

But wanted to check here if might be anything else, will appreciate any comments on this

If it's been lying a while or has been in the recent cold snap you'd be best starting with the battery first. (it's been snowing here but probably not where you are lol)

The engine check light is used for reading the fault codes so if it's not working it could make things awkward. Check all your earths are clean and secure and have good scout around all the wiring and connectors in case something is causing issue. Wouldn't rule out a bulb going faulty but it would be rare/weird for it to be that one.
