Gm 3 bar map sensor

Hello,
I was wondering if a GM 3 bar map would work with 5e ECU that I am running with my 4efte motor These has been my problem that I have found I have been running a non turbo map sensor and it only will allow 5 psi of boost. If this map will work does any body know how to wire it up?

as sheldon says can use a 4EFTE one. Either way the fuelling is going to be no way near right, you need someway of modifying the fuel! Emanage or similar would be a good bet!

I have a apex-I to adjust the fuel I just need to know if a GM 3 bar map sensor will work I would go with a 4efte but I only found one on eBay and it is 99.00 usd the gm 3bar map sensor is only 50.00 usd.

The GM 3-Bar map sensor will only work with a stand alone ECU such as Megasquirt/SDS/Haltech/Microtech/DTA etc. You are using the NA 5E ECU and wiring plus the Apexi which is fine if you are running normally aspirated. In order to trick the ECU from reading boost you will need to connect check valves to 5E map sensor. Some people use one to three fish tank one way check valves or one large check valve from a brake booster. With trial and error you may get to run 10PSI. If you want to run more boost sell the Apexi and buy the eManage Ultimate and harnesses.

if you have an apexi power fc ecu then yes it will work.

if you dont then it wont work
