greddy bcc removed and now alot of smoke

can anyone else confirm which of the wires need to be joined? Colours-wise the wires are:
- Wire leading out of grey plug: Green
- Wire touching ecu, leading out wire bundle towards grey plug and to the far left: Black
- Top wire touching grey plug: Purple & White

well I determined the left-most wire is just a ground, and what I thought was a purple & white wire is actualy black & red

Right-o:

The long black wire touching the ecu, leads into some blue plug, below the heater core

There is only one cut wire coming out of the ecu plug, the green one, a black one in the same bundle going TO the ecu plug, and then the red & black one up top...so It's going to be one of those two, but which?

well, as mentioned in my own thread, the Stupid pile of crap is (touch wood...lots of wood, I'll be off to the forest...) working! I just bit the bullet and reconnected the wire in the bundle going to the ecu plug, started a bit rough at first but then it cleared up! Absolutely over the moon

Thanks once again Mo, Dan et al, wouldn't have had a clue without you guys
