ok have a look at your ecu bro and find the a wire (white im sure of it) wich has been cut and isnt connected to anything. then take a look at the wiring loom leading away from the ecu wich goes into the engine and you should find a wire wich has also been cut and has no connection. join those 2 wires up as long as they are the same colour. that should hopefully sort your problem out. the reason is that all the other wires on the fcd get spliced into your ecu wires so they can mix with the signal. the white wire doesnt need splicing but needs connecting to the white wire on the ecu without mixing. ill do you a shitty picture on paint to explain what i mean ok

cheers chap, much appreciated, seriously! I still have little clue - the problem is all the wires are covered as my loom is modified, so had to be cut apart, then covered up, so it's hard to tell!

ah right, so I should have to random wires just hanging loosely, the rest are spliced into the ecu already?

yup because the 3 wires were spliced to mix with the ecu signal. the white wire didnt mix but took the whole connection into the fcd box and thats what makes the magic fuel cut vanish! hope it helps!

well I'll go and take a picture to confirm it's the wires, then I'll strip them back and twist them together for now as I don't have a soldering iron...thanks again Mo and Dan if this works...lifesavers

lol no the power and ground wires are splices the other one had the FCD sit in the middle off it, hence how it gives the ecu fake readings because it adjusts the signal thats actually trying to be given to the ecu.

yeah sorry. Dans right. Nevertheless there will be a disconnected wire wich is causing the problem like i said!

see you have the ep82 ecu as mine is the ep91 ecu. lets see what dan says as he might know where things go. try looking for a hks fcd wiring diagram rikko. ill look for one

could it be the black wire wich is near the grey plu wich you have circled and the black wire wich is touching the ecu wich you have circled
