GT starlet WONT START JUST MAKES ONE CLICK SOUND

Hey guys

I got a 1990 Gt starlet and it decided it didnt wna start today (yay)

I turn the key and i get a single click and it wont start.

i ASSUMED it was starter motor so me and a friend tried push starting and 3rd time luky it started.

Could this just b a starter motor problem? or something else? it run fine afta a push start for a hour so i didnt think it was a fuel problem. Maybe a relay?

I just had the battery charged it the condition shows it is charged

also what other starter motors fit the starlet?

It's either the battery, the starter motor or the wiring/connections for the starter motor.

What voltages do you have at the battery?

Yea im gonna try check the plug on the starter in the weekend! im pretty sure its not battery but il check that when im home! has anyone else got any ideas?

Make sure you have a good earth from the engine to the car I had the same problem after poly bush engine mounts were fitted
