Handbrake cable needed/help

Hey guys, i've been told that my handbrake cable has gone on the passenger rear side. Can anyone tell me if the cable is in 2sections? or 1? or even 3? Anyone know where i can get or anyone that sells them on here.

Cheers

Dody handbrake is almost definitely the caliper! Rear starlet calipers are utter crap. I balance mine between leaving it on and off over night! Leave it on too much it siezes on, leave it off too much it loses effciency! lol

Plus changing the cable is a PITA, those M6 bolts holding it on love to rust and shear off!!

Yeah i took it to my friend today who is a mechanic as he owned a glanza before, so i hope he's right in what the problem is. If not then iam going to bite him :p problem was my car rolls even on our small drive with the handbrake on, friend checked my brake pads and said they weren't worn yet.

I know that my caliper will freeze up in the winter as it has done before lol, but iam hoping it isn't my caliper. It's ok, i wont be the one changing the cable :haha: so good luck to my friend who is doing it hehe

I changed all 3 cables on mine last month and it cost me £44 for all 3 they are blueprint ones I got from the motor factors we use at our garage It was over £95 for them from toyota! I dont know if the toyota ones have changed but the new ones are plastic coated cables and the old ones was not and its the cables rusting that makes them stick. so the new ones should not stick!
