Head bolt help

I know that you have 5 long bolts 5 short bolts. This is because the head is skinny one side and thicker the other. So long onces go at the back short at the front.

Please can someone confirm this as I might be wrong.

Short to the inlet side.

Can't see how that's possible as the inlet side is the thicker side and would need longer bolts.

if the head is out, slide the bolts in the bolt holes and you will see that it comes out from the bottom with enough threads to bolt to the block.
