my head lights aint great they are very poor, iv had HID`S in them before an they were pritty crap as well but did cost me 200euro a few years back now and even when i went from dims to fulls they would be a split second of no lights at all, so im back to normal bulbs,

any1 no good blubs to use or is it just normal for glanza`s to have weak lights??

thanks ger,

what are your lenses like? if they are opaque, this can be significantly reduce the light output.

not much you can do to improve them really. better bulbs will make a little difference. the only thing you could do is try and retrofit some projectors in perhaps!?

try some GT lights and you will be begging to go back to glanza lights ;)

i dont know of anyone who has fitted projectors other than GT quadlight conversions. i think i remember someone fitted some avensis lights to a glanza, but it was far from straight forward.

if your bulbs are very old, then just replacement standard bulbs could make a decent difference. not sure what are best, i just buy any old crap as the expensive bulbs arent worth the extra IMO.

Dont be tempted to go for a far higher wattage bulb, the connectors and wiring can melt with the extra current they draw.

I guess I'll leave them the way they are so notting to improve them easily,

Any 1 useing HID`s with gud results?

My lenses have 'yellowed' and suffer from shit light output, give them a polish as above or what I used is some toothpaste on them, Makes a difference. Try some Osram night breakers as well, good alternative to standard lamps.

Yeah all about trying different bulbs and don't be fooled by halfords brighter bulbs, they are so rubbish in the glanza. Osram night breakers as mentioned above has some good reviews, but I've never tried them personally. But i know what you mean about poor lighting, sometimes I need to switch on my fog lights to see better in country roads.
