heater controller!

Noticed recently that when I turn my lights on the heater controls fail to work and the lights on it turn off. Question is does anyone know of a fuse or rely that would cause this or a plug that may have been dislodged when I changed turbo!

This is the control of where the heat comes out i.e windows foot well etc heat and fans still normal.

That sounds like a wiring fault to me, the only connection between the control and your headlights is the light behind the controls.

I cant see it being anywhere near the turbo, unless its an earth off at the drivers headlight. I would check the wiring behind the controller for bare wires, evidence of excessive heat. Check the bulb in there as well, even by just removing it to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks I've had the controls out and wiring looks fine the lights on the control works when the headlights aren't switched on!

have you tapped a boost gauge into it? to make the gauge light up?
