heatwrap dilemma..

i have gone threw 2 sets of the white heatwrap now,

each time i put a new one on it cooks it self once engine is @ normal temp.. & gets all like roasted burned marks n looks old within half hour of driving.. its white in colour..

has this happnd to anyone before?

would black be best to use?

I used the normal colour off white stuff and it was fine. what heatwrap you using? Have you tried some decent stuff from demon tweeks or something?

thats what my heat wrap does mate, but i dont use it for a cosmetic mod, i use it too stop the heat floatin around my air filter, an intercooler.

yes mate i did try the decent stuff for 22 odd quid from demon tweeks from thre ebay shop.. maybe black heatwrap will be okay i guess, as its for the wepr mani i have..

Im using the black stuff from demon tweeks & it has started to go lighter in colour so I reckon after a while it will go the same colour as it was originally

I'll get mine ceramic coated, not gonna mince about with heat wrap.

if you want to get heat wrap you will need a decent one.

dei do a good heat wrap, not cheap though.
