Help! Crank Seal Leak

A blob of sealer on the cam cap should sort any leaks, finally did one today that I can show you:

Yeah, that'll do fine.

There's a few threads on oil catch cans. Type 'catch' in to the site search bar. You need to retain the one-way PCV valve on the manifold side.

Can you advise on one more thing im not really sure about.

I hear squealing noise when radiator fan comes on, if I accelerate it gets louder and seems to also be accelerating. That is why i do not think its fan ? do you have an idea what it could be ?

does the squealing increase with revs or speed?

could be the fan, but could also be the alternator belt perhaps, if the fan is a bit knackered and you start drawing a bit more current than normal

ok, i would go with the alternator belt then. not much else it can be if it is just the fan making it squeak. do you get the squeak at any other times?
