the most iv heard of a 4efte reving to is 8500, and that is highly modified! be a good idea for you to go to a rolling road, see what power your making and most importantly looking at your afr.
this is the same thing that is happening to mine at the moment, iv fitted my Td04 and haven't had it mapped yet and the amount of juice its using at the moment is quite alot!
you might have better results purchasing a Greddy emanage unit and getting someone to properly map it.
