Front or back? Typically, a humming noise, or a scraping noise and usually has some play in the wheel, more so in the back wheels

I'd just jack it up mate and grab it the wheel that is and feel for play by rocking the wheel :) any up and down play then it could possibly be a bearing, or whilst driving if you hear like a loud medium tone " hum " hope this helps.

Put the handbrake and steering lock on grab front wheels at 12 and 6 and give it a good firm push and pull. Any play here would most likely indicate wheel bearing play. Same for back only leave it in gear and take handbrake off.

Wheel bearings don't always have play, which I must point put, my bearing almost failed to the point of it totally collapsing, and there wasn't any play at call, it was the noise of it scraping as it was wearing down the hub as the bearing has gone completely

Thanks guys. To be honest there is a humming noise and a scrapping noise now and then. But how do i know whether its front or back or left or right????

Its a matter of listening closely when driving. Be careful with the scraping noise as on mine it ending up being the bearing wearing away the hub
