how to get decent power gains

hey i have a galanza v its standard apart from hks dv cone filter and a decat i have a stainless manifold which needs to be fitted i also have a hks actuator but i dont think i am going to fit this

what would be the best and cheapest way to get abit more power with out going silly cheers anth

fit the manifold would be step 1.
relocate airfilter to front bumper would be my step 2
open exhaust would be a welcome addition aswell
hks actuator is great but you need to watch your fueling.

if you want to up the boost with the actuator you'll need a rrfpr (sard one preferred) and something to set the fueling (apexi safc, emanage blue)
and you will need to do a rolling road session to set the fueling right.

messing this up will cost you your engine :)

I would say that at his early stage ,management is a bit much. You wouldnt have to do that until the 230bhp mark. Although i do see that its not a bad idea.

Dave does FSE FPR which seem to be very good.

I currently have one waiting to go on too :)

200whp trinidad style using only parts mentioned :


td04h, Fmic, electronic boost controller , bov, 460cc injectors, greddy emanage blue,

the tune on 95 octane: dizzy set on 10* tuned a max of 16psi at afr of 11:1

the tune on 50%c16 mix or water meth or both to : dizzy set at 15-18* tuned to max of 20-22psi , afr at 10.8:1.


note :
*adjust timing as necessary on the emu to control any knock detected .
