How to get to ep82 ecu?

I had to take out the centre bit that surrounds the gear stick.

Could be an easier way to get at it but it was the way I done it

well i tried prising off the centre console but that wasnt budging so i have no idea how to get to it lol

From the drivers footwell or passenger footwell, there was bolts that retain it in place, undo them and it should pop out either side with part of the harness.
