Before doing anything i would make sure all filters, fluids, plugs etc are good, if not replace. Also check suspension etc.

as above mate, check car over, full service all fluids etc and drive the car for a bit, then start to mod it. but depends what kinda performance you want? simple mods like exhaust decat relocated filter or full out forged build and big turbo??

welcome

only thing in adition to the above, check for any smoke when boosting, and nocks

oh and most important let it warm up before putting your foot down and especially on long runs cool down before turning off. Got to look after that turbo :p

Thanks everybody,i have all that done already, have a blitz vgtt but dont have a wiring diagram so dont no how to fit if anyone has one it wud be a help, its a killer sitting in the car after i get home to let it cool down wheater i drive it hard or not

get a turbo timer dude, or a class clifford alarm which most have them as standard so just walk away and let it cool itself down. thats what i do otherwise you'll start to get bored keep just sitting there and the turbo will suffer if you don't keep cooling it down. i've also just got an ep82, had it about a month now, i upgraded to one from a 97 1.4 clio. slight change :).
