what sort of set-up are you going for bud?
big bhp? high response?
personally i'm running a td04 with an rx7 tmic, and i intend to get an inlet temp guage and compare the difference in temps between tmic and fmic

A nice daily driver.

well currently stock but looking at a TDO4L with daily .9bar boost.

Temps out here get hot and a normal summer day could see 40c easy. A front mount could be better.

Im not interested drag racing or streetracing, I just want something fun, should I take it to the occaisional track day @ Killarny racetrack.

I originally thought of a Tdo4h15t but I need something that spools quickly, the TDO4 should work perfectly. Currently the Ct9 runs out of steam when I hook 4th gear. Im running .65 bar, gutted cat and relocated filter behind the headlight.

I hope that a I wont have to drop in a new clutch with the added tdo4 grunt.

at 0.9bar you might be better staying with the ct9.
you could also get away with running a td04 or ct9 at 1bar, the standard injectors and internals should be ok for both, although you might need a fpr or some form of managment.

for you local climate i'd say a fmic is necessary

standard clutch should be ok. you wont know if it will be until you up the power, some can take the abuse, others cannot.
hope that helps

staying with the quickspooling ct9 would be an easy option, but after 3rd gear there really is no thrust, well nothing like there is with a bigger turbo or like there was with my uno.

Stock wise the uno came with a garrett T2 on the 1400 8v the starlet power stock compares to a stock Uno turbo.

I did have a mild 210hp model with a front mount, full 3 inch pipe, extra injectors and a tdo4h15t. The top end really came alive with the 15T turbo It pulled very nicely in the top 2 gears.
My second Uno was a fully built 300hp dyno queen, that made wheelspinning while flat footing in 4rth at 2.2bar very easy.

Im not looking for that power. Id be happy with 130-150kw.

I think a front mount - tdo4l and a fpr would be perfect.
