idle stop screw throttle body

hi , i ve noticed today the idle stop screw s been missing and the throttle cable is touching anything when the throttle is off

do i need to get one quick ? will this affect the car running with no stop screw?

i hope u guys understand what i mean .

I think it may effect you tps you may want to do a tps check there is a procedure here somewhere.

this is a old throttle i found to show you the bit missing.

It can cause a few problems, TPS is one and because the throttle plate is now stopping only by hitting the inside of the throttle body, it can cause the plate to wear or bend the edges and there is a possibility it could stick closed.
