to be honest mate i think you might struggle to find a decent quote for a glanza at the moment. especially at your age.
alot of companies won't insure you until your 21 now on turbo starlets, but if you do manage to find a company that will insure you the cost for a GT instead of a Glanza is generally considerably cheaper.
Have a quick search, this question has been asked quite abit recently and the results should give you an idea of what companies to try.

im 20 and cant get a quote on a glanza but i had my gt insured when i was 19 i changed off it just b4 i turned 20, if price isnt an issue try 3 insurers if they refuse you get three letters off them and you can get who ever is insuring you to insure you until your renewal but 9/10 they wont renew the policy at the end of the year on the car its on here how to do it a full explanation

I find the starlet to be cheaper than a saxo vtr - 900 fully comp and 600 for my starlet is it because so many saxo's get smashed up

Im 18, with a glanza v paying 1.3k 1 yrs ncb etc. So yes you can get a good deal it also depends on where you live.

Try closest to home dude, See what SKY insurance has to offer you :)

Sky Insurance don't cover Northern Ireland so they are out of the equation unfortunately.
Generally for young drivers in N.I it is ESPECIALLY hard to get decent insurance if at all on a turboed starlet (GT or Glanza)
Over here is is a slightly different kettle of fish to the UK mainland.

To have one on a 'R' plate or even with one years driving experience you will be either paying a shocking amount of money, a named driver on someone elses policy car or in the worse case insuring as a 1.3 on logbook. The situation gets much better obviously the older you are and the more years ncb you have. The best you can do is try everywhere that insures N.I, get some quotes and do you own research. Im sure there was a huge thread on this site with a huge list of companies and their numbers. Would be a good place to start.

Good luck :)

When i fisrt got the glanza it was £1200 at 21 with quinn 3 years ncb, now £600 5 years ncb with quinn. Dont know if they are allowed to take on new customers at the min. Just get the phone book and ring round.

Anyone under 21 i know driving a starlet hasnt got it insured as a turbo mate, and there still paying big money for it. Most bought there cars before checking insurance and had too sell them on. despite me insisting they should have checked. NI is in a different ball park too scotland.

Best of luck lad.
