Thats just a waste of money not insuring it as a turbo! The policy will be void. Your then paying for a piece of paper that is of no use to you if you are involved in an accident!

i had a friend who never insured his gt as a turbo,was involved in a accident in his first gt! an was inspected by the insurance company! an they payed out for his car an injuries!! and now he has another gt! with same insurance as a 1.3... now i know an he knows its probly not the best way to go about it! but it wasnt a problem when they assesed the car.. just had to add that

What happen's if you hit someone and your insurance is void what will you do then, could you not wait a couple of years and then buy a turbo and insure it proper ive waited 8 years to own a scooby just because of insurance.

my sister works for a insurance company if the car is not insured as a 1.3 turbo your cover will be void then you are done for driving without insurance which could cause you to lose your licence if you kill someone you are looking at a jail term sorry to be harsh but thats the way the law would look at it

how? They wouldent insure me when I was 20. Im 21 now and its a struggle....how in gods name did you get insured at 18?!!!!!!!!!!! 2 of my mates gave up on getting glanzas because no-one would insure them...

No, I had to go through a broker. 1290 tpft, with hibernian thru the broker. I have 4 years no claims ( 2 named, 2 on my own policy). Seriously quinn were like we cant insure you, simple as. I dont know how people are gettin insured at 18 with them...must be a loophole?!

Im 21 now like, if I tried to get insured now with them I probably would. Did you see my thread last year bout insurance with quinn? Basically I got aquote with them and got them to save it on their system before I ordered my car form japan. When it came in I went to activate my policy and they turned around and said they couldent insure me ( I was 20 at the time) so I had to go elsewhere.
Anyway all im saying is, is it just me or do other people find insurance a bit random?!! I mean fair deuce to Kieran S and the other lad who is insured on his PROVSIONAL!!!! delighted for you guys...BUT how did you do it? Is there some sort of trick? I just dont get it like! Ive bin drivin since my 17th bday so no lack of experience and no crashs and I couldent get insured when I was 20?

glanza are harder to insure than a gt had no problem getting insurance on mine but its was expensive

thats not true,i tried to get a qoute on an evo 7 there 3 weeks ago,they flat out refused me.tried a type r imprezza,same shit.
