Interior lighting

When i got the glanza v, the interior lights wern't working. Any ideas what the problem might be? Fuse? Bulbs?

i would guess if the fuse was gone youd have other things not workin,try the bulb first then go from there

My gt does this. If you turn it on by hand it works, but open the door its dark. Sensor must work as when you open the door with you r headlights on without the engine running it beeps at you!

Tried opening the door with the lights on and there was no warning beep? It beeps when the key is in the ignition and the door is open tho... If it's the bulb, how do i change it?

pop the cover off then take the bulb out and put a new one in.

it could be the rivets on the light unit themselves are loose. also check the door swithces as they can get shitty and not create a very good circuit!

Mine was like this. The bulb and door sensor were fine. I took the entire light out and it turned out that the grounding strip of metal for the door was disconnected as dac69er said above(I didn't realise the light needed negative current sent to turn on). Once reconnected it worked fine.

it switches the negative side. its the way alot of cars are!

It's quite a common problem i think, the door switches also activate the beeping noise when the headlights are left on, or the key is in the ignition with the door open

well it beeps when the lights are left on, or the key is in the ignition and the door is opened, but still no interior light. wont even switch on by hand like. its driving me mad!

hav u replace door switch? common fault... also check wiv tester if thers live comin through 2 da bulb holder

ive got the exact same problem, tried everything and now just given up.

checked fuse bulb and negative with no luck, ppfftt

with mine i took the cover off and bent the to prongs that hold the bulb in together and its all sorted
