well my air filter fits over the standard EFI pipe, which is roughly 70mm, Where the hell can I find a 70 to 45mm 90deg reducer?

you will have to get yourself some kind of reducer mate. bob down to a plumbing shop and they should be able to sort you out as they have loads of reducers

hang on a sec though. if the efi pipe is 70mm as you say, then how can the samco we need be 45mm? the efi pipe comes off the turbo meaning that it must be 70mm then? im abit confused.

i think its the bend and size reduction that causes the efi pipe to be so restrictive so i think it may be best to ditch it all together. this is something im looking to do next so let me know how you get on lads.

just a thought mo woudl you not need a different inlet size for yours being a hybrid ?

and secondly will you not get mega boost creep with the filter like that ?

wana do it to mine too
also have a hybrid but wud that matter as im sill using the standard pipe to the filter

have an hks mushroom filter
dont have aircon
wud it still b 45mm to 70mm

i would guess so mate. measure the size of the pipe that you attatch the hks mashroom filter too.

and where do u say is the best place to get the whole pipe
looked on ebay but dont seem to have the right size
