Jap Track/Drift car less £1000???

I picked up a cheap S13 a couple of years ago and learned how to drift in it!
made our own decat and whacked on a cheapo 5" backbox on - upped the power a little with a turbo from the S14 and welded dif, stripped it completely and put in a bucket seat and harness then off we went!
Was great fun and TBH WELL worth the money - I sold the car for parts later on and made more money back than I spent on the car LOL!!

Where you get an MX5 for like £600 then, they seem to be around £1500 £2000 mark or am i just looking in all the wrong places?
The Ovlov sounds a ripper of an idea, but i seriously dont think i can bring myself to it.

i got a stripped nissan silvia s12 on drift works for £600. came with 10 extra alloys, roll cage, fmic, coilovers, strut brace, bucket seats with harnesses over on driftworks.com

no no no, i co-owned it with him. we were joint owners. he's in the raf and is being posted up north which forced the sale. we sold it with a trailer for £1750 last weekend
