I've done the compression test. The readings were 193, 185, 189, 182. Are these normal? Thanks

Did you do the test with the throttle fully open?

Double check you have the oil and water line connections not mixed up on the turbo mate.

Oil feed is on the opposite face to the oil return.

You could try disconnecting the hose from your turbo outlet and run the car to see if oil is pissing out the seals, that could be caused by the kinked return backing up the oil in the center housing as its not flowing out.

Your engine could be ok if it was only a short drive.

Are those readings in PSI or what?

PSI

The throttle was fully open and the oil and water lines were definately correct.

Do you mean run the car with no pipe between the intercooler and turbo to see if oil comes out?

Thanks

kinked oil drain line will not cause the oil to flow properly ..back up and even blow ur turbo..

sam

agreed, i assume you mean the oil return pipe mate, if this was kinked badly then u will prob have blew the turbo:freddy:

I'm not which bits in the turbo would "blow or be damaged".

It'll be fine mate, sort the kink out, it'll no doubt smoke for a bit afterwards as sounds like you've got a lot in the cooler pipes etc.

Also make sure you check the oil level.

yeh i've seen this before, the kink in the return pipe will cause the oil to build up back pressure and it will force out at the weakest point (turbo seals) eaxhaust side, but fix the pipe and you might be lucky enough to get away with it,

Ye.

Its because there called "seals" everybody seems to think of a rubber o'ring or gasket, that will be damaged from doing so.
