just rebuilt 2nd time and still rattling!

Some of you will know my on going problems with engine etc,

I just rebuilt my engine for the second time after a head gasket dramatically went and I was getting a horrible tapping noise, coming from the top end.

Rebuilt the engine saw big end bearings were slightly worn so replaced them, then put on a TRD head gasket.

All back together finally and still getting a horrible rattly tapping noise which although sounds high my mechanic recons is bottom end again.

Any suggestions what this tapping may be? I am sure everything has gone back together completely by the book...

Dropping the sump and bottom end now so will be checking everything, any suggestions of what to specifically look out for would be welcome!

stock engine or forged?

sounds like crank needs a regrind if youve replaced bearings and its still rattling. check clearances
