Low Hard Drive Space

Something keeps eating at my hardrive.. Taking up all the space.. I googled it and seemingly its the SYSTEM RESTORE points. So I deleted them and it freed up loads of GB's worth of space but its eating away again and now when I try to delete them the same way as before it aint doing it and I am now left with 150mb space on a 250gb HDD :confused:

Ive ran all anti virus scans, spyware etc etc and checked all my programs too make sure there aint thats too BIG but you can literally open MY COMPUTER and watch the space on my HDD go down...

Any help?

a mate had this before where a virsus would constantly download unsuitable images to his pc, he tried disconnectin the net but since it was already installed on his system it kept duplicating the images instead, although it could just be a problem with system restore, you turnt it off after deleting the files?

FOr some reason as said above I cant seem to delete the SYSTEM RESTORE points anymore which makes me think its another problem.. Maybe somethign Ive downloaded thats skipped my anti virus... Maybe try restoring teh system to few weeks back if I can if not re-install windows..

I just disabled my totaly lol (cant bes asked to keep monitoring my drives).

You can limit how much system restore uses disk space, Left click Recyle Bin and properties, Then move the slide bar
