LSD Question - plz help

hi,

will a factory LSD gearbox from a 95 GT fit a Glanza?

yeha! all FWD starlet gearboxes fit to all FWD starlets.

yes, but the 3rd and 4th ratio will be slightly different to a standard glanza box

Yep, 3rd and 4th are longer on GTs.

Please do not forget you will need the axles and the gearbox mounts from the LSD box unless your EP91 was so equipped as well.

hardcoreep why does he need other mounts? and why other axles? lsd gearbox is located otherwise than stdr ones?

if it came standard with a LSD there is a shorter drive shaft on the passengers side and the mounting is slightly different at the rear due to the shape of the LSD box

As Rory mentioned the rear gearbox mount and shafts are different. If you want to use TRD mounts with a stock LSD then you will only be able to use the front two, the gearbox mount will need to be OEM.

TRD used to make a set for the stock LSD cars but they were dis-continued a few years back. Those with a conventinal inbox LSD (aftermarket) will be fine the only ones effected are those with a stock OEM LSD..
