no its ready to be bolted in , people would recommend on changing the bearings but i fitted them new last year so ya will be ok
you will always get wheelspin with a big turbo but it do make a great difference and not just on getting power down it will help you out in the corners too
i drove a friends glanza with no diff and i couldnt believe what it was like ,when ya get used to them there is no turning back

i used silkolene syn 5 75w90 , i changed mine when i fitted it and done it a few months ago but i say every year would be ok
