would these fit the 4wd starlets??? the damper units look to be the same as the fwd versions. might get a set of these for the 4wd beast so i can adjustable heights and then just some kyb dampers for the runabout GT....

These are design for the FWD EP82 / EP91.

For the 4WD EP85, I had designed a custom coilovers for them.
PC18 got the first prototype coilovers for the EP85, so I now have the engineer drawing on the EP85 coilovers and can produce them on a "custom" order basis.

The RRP of the Zeta-R for EP85 will be £699.00
That is because this had to be custom order and build, but in most case all the parts are available and the coilovers will be ready for delivery in 2-3 days.
The EP85 kit will come with the pillowball top mount with camber adjustment, and the coilovers will bolt onto the car with all the correct ride height adjustment for the EP85 chassis.

im definetly gonnna be ordering some of these, just hope the offer stays for a while :)

Offer will be up for a bit, I want to make sure everyone get a chance to try out the new Zeta-R. :)
But if anyone have any questions, please feel free to let me know at anytime.

Do we have any pictures or review yet for the new Zeta-R?
I am pretty sure alot of people are waiting to see some pictures.

Pictures of the MeisterR Coilovers on the car would be fine.
I specified the coilovers for the EP82/91 chassis, but I have yet to see it on a car yet. :)

Will try and get today when the car is being set up for alignment and camber stuff.

See those stickers I got, do any go on the inside of the window? As I don't like stickers on the paintwork lol

Thanks,

The stickers go outside only, sorry.
Don't put them on the paintwork if you don't like it (not many does)
Most people put the MeisterR sticker on the top passenger corner of the front windscreen, as it stays off the wiper area (so cops don't get annoy), and also stay out of driver's view.

And the www.meisterR.com sticker on the lower edge of the rear quarter glass.

I personally like putting stickers on the glass also, as it is much easier if you ever need to remove it. :(

I say that looks pretty LOW already.

Almost NO WHEEL GAP in the rear...!

Quick review of them:

To start with I had my bc's but due to the shocking roads around here I wanted to try something a little bit softer, as due to doing 90 miles a day when in the office, the odds are I'm going to come accross some real shit roads around Aberdeen. Which I do.

First impressions where the quality is good, the same quality as bc's. I wouldn't say either has a higher quality look just from a visual inspection. Although I'm no coil over guru at all.

Installation was as easy as my bc's, anyone could fit them, I did!

Once they where on my car, I found the standard settings a bit harsh still for my roads, so I adjusted it down 3 clicks to make it 10 I think, as it comes from the box at 13 iirc from the manual.

Once I had softened it up, they are much better suited now for my needs. Although to match the bc's I had to crank it down at the rear height wise, although only like a 5-10mm difference from my bc's, just because no use having the car stupidly low around here, although I think I could get another 15mm lower if I wanted, while my bc's where maxed out as low as I could go with the pre set pre load. So they can go at a guestimate about 25-30mm lower than bc's at the rear.

When driving I do prefer the meisters due to being a bit softer, which in turn makes the car a bit less rattly and less needing to swerve to avoid pot holes as much as I used to.

Could say they are more compliant as I know Jerrick likes to use that word alot :haha:

:haha: Yep, Compliant is the key word in suspension design.
Best coilovers in the world would still suck if your wheels isn't touching the ground.

Give it about 2-3 weeks as the dampers need time to break-in.
Once it break-in the dampers will become slightly softer (so you can adjust the damping back a little harder) and will give a "wider" range of adjustments.

There isn't really a "standard" damping adjustments.
If you are happy with a certain adjustments, that is the best adjustment for you.

I find a good starting point to be 50% damping on the front and 25% damping in the rear.
For the Zeta-R that would be 16 clicks on the front and 8 clicks in the rear from the softest setting.
I always start counting from the softest as that gives the most comfortable ride. :)

A couple of snaps from the iPhone. The height it's at is what they came out of the box at and first impressions are very, very good :)

First of all, i want to thank you everyone for your support.
I hope those who have the MeisterR Zeta-R coilovers are very happy with them, and I look forward to see more feedback.
I made the suspension as best I can for the EP82 / EP91 chassis, but if anyone have any suggestion for improvement, please feel free to let me know.

The demand was so great I actually ran out of stock.
I have a new batch of stock already in transit, so it will be here shortly.

I have a member that decide to postpone his order, therefore I still have one set left.
If anyone is interested, please let me know quick. :)

Any more pictures and feedback will be appreciated.
