Mistaken Identity: White Glanza Slammed on MeisterR Coilovers in Guildford Meet

MeisterR

Lifer
My mate call me up to say there was a meet in Guildford tonight.
I decided to go and see a few cars and meet a few new faces at the meet.

Half way into the night I saw a SLAMMED White Glanza...
So I went up to it as I know most coilovers on the market doesn't go that low (there was no gap between the rear wheel and the pannel).

Then I noticed the MeisterR website stickers on the rear quarter window and I thought it was one of my mate's car...
So I cheekily stuck a LOADS of business card on this windscreen...
I carry on expecting my mate to call me up.

At the end of the meet, I call my mate up to ask where is he...
Then it happen... "I AM HOME"...

I went around looking for the Glanza but it was already gone.

So two things:
1. If the owners is on here, apology for sticking a STACK of business card on your windscreen.

2. More pictures PLEASE... i didn't take any photo but that has got to be one of the lowest Glanza i ever seen...

All in all, good fun out tonight. A bit chaotic but good to see a few new faces, talk to some owners and help a few guys out who got questions on suspension setup.

lol, idrees was tellin me hw he got the most random phone call off u!:haha:

Yep... Don't know why I thought it was Idree, as he is not even close to Guildford.
But the he drove to Bluewater before so I shouldn't be surprise.

Anyways, the owner have just PM me so I'll let him post and claim the prize...
You should of seen the look on my face when I realize I got the wrong person. :haha:

Yep, the "engine" bits are all here now...
Will talk to Marshall later and see if we can arrange something.

I will post this project all over the forum, as this is the first project like that in the WORLD!!!
Not to mention it is a good development tools for a new range of MeisterR Coilovers. ;)

Marshall as in Marshall, Marshall matey if that makes sense at all.

:):):)

LOL, no mate that didnt make any sense. Michael marshall of MnM engineering.

Yer i havent heard anyone do that to an ls400 before? i was trying to work out wether it was going to be a vip drift project? or a pimp daily? or just a base for the engine untill you found something else to put it in.

Yep, seen some of the cars Marshall had done and the quality of the work is superb.
There isn't many people I am willing to leave my car with to do this project... especially one as big as the up coming one.

P.S. It isn't an LS400, because that car is just NOT Pimp enough. :haha:

Yep... it is SLAMMED alright!

The angles I was looking at the car last night made it look even lower.
It caught my attention right away because I couldn't see any wheel gap at all when I walk up to it. :haha:

That is just as low as my old Glanza used to be with D2 coilovers. Looks nice though :)

i cant remember what he said now?! it wasnt sc430 was it?!

Wait and you shall see...

Does the D2 go lower than that? Didn't know the D2 go that low.
I am not sure if that is as low as the Zeta-R will go, but I wouldn't expect much more looking at the engineering drawing.

The specification I designed for the EP82/91 Zeta-R is as low as you can go without loosing damper stroke travel... every last mm was used.
You need to take out damper stroke travel to go any lower and that is the last thing you want to do on a daily driven fast road suspension setup.
