just went for the mot test with a straight pipe from front to back and the car didnt fail the emissions runing a mines ecu but they did fail me on the front mount intercooler they told me to paint it black, on the pilllar gauges and on the noise , i think they are a bit coming more shit and then a piece of crap it did pass the mot with no problems most of them really they are painted with a roller:homer:

Why would changing the colour of the intercooler to black pass an MOT? makes no sense.

thats what i told to myself just went home and taped up the intercooler in black tape to pass and fit a filter in the exhoust plus have to remove the guages to pass my car

i can tell you why. you cannot mod your bumper and fit an intercooler, so he could have told you to remove it, but they ask you to paint it just to be less visible to the pigs and for the picture of the MOT
