Motorbike backbox

As above, I did't put this on, it was on when I bought the car 6 months ago. Just wanting to know if anyone knows any PROPER detail about pros and cons of this. It's just that I have searched the net and can't find anything helpful. I already knew myself a bit about the back pressure it would possibly give, but thats as much as I know. I have the standard cat gutted and other than the backbox mentioned the rest of the exhaust is standard. Car is going well, is very responsive and the sound isn't bad either. But still would like to understand more about it.

All sensible info very much appreciated.

Yeah saw daves thread a few days ago, I have no problems with mine either I think it's pretty cool to be honest, just want to educate myself about the reasoning behind it tho.

I Used one as it was small and different, gives very little back pressure, sounds sweet and gives massive flames :

I was told if it gives flames means your turbo is super hot and lighting the fuel,this true?Or just bullshit
