for everyones information ive actually got a HKS sequential dumbvalve now and been running that for the past week.. sorry cal no baileys....

Right ive just done what you said aaron....

i put my baileys back on and i know that works.... So started it up....

i was looking at the waste gate and it wasnt moving at all.... was revving it quite hight and wasnt moving for what i can see.... it seems i have two "disc" shapes for some reason and one of them is slightly open even when the car is off.....? i'll post some pics in a sec....

I was also watching the dump valve and it was very slightly working so there was pressure but sure wasnt boost.....

if im right you have a rev 3 so it should be the ct20

It seems like a boost leak, from what your are saying. Have a look at all your soft link pipes in the cooler pipes, sounds like one has split.
The wastegate flap wont open when reving the car

rory what was the bit of blue smoke initially for a couple of minutes when it first happened though??

only happened a bit when i let off the throttle?

PS the noise was like a whistling noise from the turbo like it has always made....

The gates are a red herring, even if one doesn't open properly then this would cause the car to overboost if anything. If they were flapping is what we were looking for.

What noise does is the turbo making?

this happened to me when i had the glanza,was spooling but no boost,..as stated i had a boost leak,..ive read through the thread and you havent said if you have checked for leaks?
