Nagoya Nostalgic Japanese Car Show, *PICS*

Hey peeps, went to a car show yesterday. The show was held in Nagoya, more of an older Japanese (JAP/Euro/US) car show with cars upto late 80's or very early 90's. Was quite good, never seen so many old skylines in one place before. Hope these pics wont be too big..

Here's some more..

This R32 GTR was in my opinion one of the best cars at the show, it was mint all over in a rare colour and had only covered 36,000km's! It was forsale at 760,000yen which is not bad considering R32 GTR's usually start at around 500,000 and thats for a bit of tatty one. If I could have, I would have driven it out but I dont have the brass yet

This stand had a lot of strange creations, I think they wanted to demonstrate the fact they can put almost any engine in any car.. Some unique cars..

This Cedric from hell, from the outset almost looked like a Taxi with wheels and a big bonga on the back but then it appeared to be a drag car with an RB26 and a huge blower! Shove that up yo boost pipe!

This Skyline was crazy, again some sicko lump chucked in! (For you Kon)

This was next to the green one, quite neat! I'm not upto scratch on my engines but this don't look like the original!

Cool little datsun truck, again not sure on the lump in it..

Again an engine swap,

And one more, looks like a lump from from a Chaser or a Supra, Soarer.. Don't know.

Mini, Japan, rare?? Lol no they absoloutely love them I counted well over 100 of them when I was there compared with not even 20 Gt's and glanza's.

Love the pics Jay I'm definately goin to have myself a nice 240z as a project when I have the money to do so.

Makes me miss Japan seeing those pics....

Whats the deal with old cars in japan, i thought after 3 years old you had to pay loads of money in tax, how do you get around it?
