Need to reve it to start it

i KNOW THIS IS TOYOTA WEBSITE but i am after changing the clutch for my girlfriends almera 04 1.5 petrol everything is ok the only thinkg is when you start it with the key with no gas pedal it dosent stay running or it does sometimes but its just about to cut off and then stays runing normal. drives ok thru the revs didnt happen before cous she always use to start it in the morning before she gets in to it to warm it up.

no idea but its defo something i done cous it was ok before the clutch went in. Must check all the earth conections and that
