Hi,

i've posted a few times on here but never really introduced myself. Im Chris, 23 from Hastings. On Saturday i swapped my Clio Williams 2 for a mk2 ep82 gt. A huge thanks to James who is a great seller. Everything that was wrong with the car he was honest about. It needs the bumper and bonnet painting as they have quite bad paint peel. The roof also has some, but isnt as bad. The rest of the car is pretty clean, and it has the following bits fitted:

Tein coilovers with camber adjustable top mounts
Apexi intake
Sard Bov
Trd leads
Trd rad cap
Enkei 15" wheels
Apexi turbo timer
Boost gauge

Im not planning to do too much too it, just a Buddy Club Spec 2 exhaust, de-cat, hks fcd and actuator, uprated fual pump and a front mount. Thats about it performance wise (for now!). Then just a few little touches here and there, and im done. Will get some pics up soon after a good clean.

Chris.

The gt is very similar handling wise, nice and firm with a slightly twitchy back end if pushed hard. The gt's brakes are shocking compared to the Clio's though! It also has to be driven differantly to get the most out of it, the Clio had a nice chunk of torque so you didnt have to work it as hard or drop a cog to overtake etc. I love the gt though, the only turb oive had is a Rover 800 Vitesse (dont knock it, it cost £50 with t&t, and with the silencers cut out and the boost tweaked it went like stink) so just getting used to driving a turbo. I miss the Clio for looks, but dont regret my choice!
