What does this mean regarding a manifold: 'Removes the restriction in the 3rd runner making ringland failure more common'. Thanks.

The standard exhaust manifold has a restriction in the third runner. Aftermarket manifolds don't have this resulting in better flow which improves spool up, response and overall power.
