Just came back from holiday, went Florida for 2weeks! Was great, arrived at Gatwick to be collected from Hotel that i left my car at.

After the 10 hour flight, didnt really pay attention to my car, just got in and drove to Pompey to catch boat home. I noticed the huge scratch on my windscreen whilst driving, which annoyed me, but once i got out the car and ferry terminal i just flipped!!!

Nice 12" scrape along my drivers wing, and the scratch on my windscreen was 13". They got a mouthful on the phone!!! Also written a very strong letter :(

Thats the Cambridge Gatwick hotel, my car was supposed to be in a secure compound????

The annoying part, was the guy i talked to on the phone didnt speak very good english. You know when you get problems with your bank, and you gotta call them up, and you always get someone from India. It was like that!!! Grrrr!!!

Cheers guys. The wing is also only about 9months old, she was replaced by previous owner. (they started the car up, and was in reverse! door was open, enough said, lol)

Think it mite have been caused maybe by someones luauage. Cant spell! May have scrapped it across my car putting it in there car!??? Still not got a reply!

I would, but its a boat journey and an hour and a half to get there. So at least £80 to get there and back :(

Been quoted, on the cheap, £150 to get wing done, and windscreen wiould have to pay excess on insurance. Thats if they dont pay.

Beware, some carparks have a policy where if you don't spot the damage there and then before you leave then they are not liable for it.

If you have pictures though it shouldn't be too hard to prove anything.



On a side note thats a nice figure in the reflection of the first pic lol
