oil filter guard?

how do you remove this metal plate:

iv taken 2 bolts off and now it moves quite a bit but there is something else holding it

almost wish id spent £36.50 on a oil filter wrench cup from toyota yesterday (LOL!)

I got mine from toyota for exactly 26 euros

never mind on the guard, flattened it with a bit of finger strength so all is good now

Hi mate,

I did this yesterday whilst removing my aircon. There is two bolts at the base of the oil filter and I also had a bolt attaching it to the A/C pump which doesn't appear to be on yours looking at the photo. Strange that it won't come off if you've removed two bolts then?
