@Danza - Yes thats fine. Its just a push in valve that goes into a rubber bung.

@Weejohn - yeah it would if u used a sealed unit catch can. Thats why an open breather catch can is needed. The pressure will take the path of least resistance and come out of the breather rather than passing back to the crank case.
Air pressure should escape the catch can and the oil vapours should condense on the cold walls of the can "catching them" in effect.
Thats the theory anyway. Lol.
