I turn the key in the ignition and take it to red line - live dangerously!

I joke i joke, nah, turn it on. Have a walk around it, roll my window down. Set the radio up, then leave. Stay off boost until i'm out of my estate and onto the 40mph roads. Then when I get back after blasting it, sit in it for 10minutes. I really could do with a turbo timer lol.

lol for such a know it all call that suprises me haha..

a turbo timer is something that tabs into the ignition, so that when you switch off the car and take out the key it tricks the car into thinking its still got the key in the ignition and its still running, but thus letting you leave the car with the keys and lock it at the same time. you can set it to any period of time to let it cool down.

i find them a big help like if you wanna just run into the shops its a piece of piss.

Turbo timers are a good idea and theres no harm leaving your car runing on the timer cus most of them are wired to the handbrake so if its let off the engine cuts.

i use my timer if im just popping to a cashpoint or into a shop quickly etc. also handy as it has a voltage display and fills the gap i have my boost controller in ;)

As we are on about turbo timers, This is what i always wanted to know. Whats the minimum time to set the timer?
i set it to 30sec + auto, so minimum 30sec plus whatever time the timer adds.

depends on the timer
mine is 10 secs

3mins is a suitable time to let the engine cool down
