Pluglead's faulty - OEM or aftermarket?

My 4th pluglead has broken off completely inside the plug.

Ive fixed it with a wire, but its only temp. Car will misfire once or twice in 4th gear under load if I flatfoot. I cant get plugleads in South Africa for the car, so my only resort is to import either aftermarket leads or get a stock motor and snatch them from there.


Should I be going stock or aftermarket? Is there really a difference?


Would the 4 AFE plugleads work?

after market ones are a better job even if your running a stock engine they are more dependable in most aspects

what brand can you recommend?

i have trd red ones which are pretty good but ive heard good things of the magnacore one 8.5 mm you can go mad expensive but for the price and quality i think these would be the best option

have you got a rough estimate on the TDR ones vs the magnacore?

i picked up my trd ones second hand on ebay i paid 40 pounds the magnacore ones work out about 80 pounds new now i dont know how much you would pay on delivery
