Question about 5e-fhe with 4e-fte piston

i want build a engenie with this setup
inyector 375
TD05H 16g
glanza V stock fuel pump
5e-fhe manifold admission
port and polish head with angle Job
Asc Head Gasket 1mm
5e-fhe rods with 4e-fhe piston
Apexi S-AFC2
custom exhaust manifold
2.5 down pipe and exhaust
stock ecu
my question is , can i run 10 psi with fuel pump ( 88 ron) without blow up the piston , of course with a good tune ....

i dont know whit 88ron but i used to have a 5efhe whit 4efte pistons tdo5 and it did 1.2 bar easily on 95 ron those 5efhe rods take a big amount off boost for sure
but best to wait for a reply about the ron stuff im not to smart whit that

95 ron ? what kind of fuel is this , fuel pump ? stock fuel ? or race fuel ?

id guess where colin lives you can get 95 ron from the pump!

didnt think it would take 1.2 bar. on what ecu colin? i was thinking going 5e with stock 4e pistons..

yes 95 from local pump


and the ecu i had back then was a mines p&p whit rrfpr and 330/360cc injectors set up on the rollers wasnt ideal but was grand on boost and when hot cold start was an issue somthimes

I won't chance that with stock management and 88ron. We also have 93 and 95 as our normal pump fuel
88ron... why??? its unfair towards you guys with tuned cars!
I would get a good stand alone if I were you.

how much who you maked ? with fuel pump and stock 4efte piston ??? you never broke the piston ?

yes you can run 10psi without blowing up the piston, just make sure it's not detting it's tits off, and the a/f ratio is correct.

1.2 bar can be run on oem 4efte pistons after that ringlands give way
and the 5efhe oem rods will take 1.4 at oem rev limit

are you sure men ? is with fuel pump 88 ron this is the premum gasoline in my country (dominican republic ) i have STOCK ecu with Apexi SAFC 2 , i want really care my piston.. some body Told me that the CR is very dangerous at 11 psi

like i said before it would take it on 95 ( dont know the 88 stuff ) its all in the tuning setup of your safc u will be using i ran mine on a mines whit a few tweeks here and there and raced around for 9 months like shumacher hitting 7.8 almost al the time whit no isseus
