Raised bonnets

How do u raise the back of bonnets... it used to be done on mine til i got a new bonnet

a lot of people pile up some washers.

as said above,

This is what i done, A few washers brought it up nicely. Dont put too many one as you want still a decent amount of thread in the bonnet unless you use longer bolts. You dont want it too high anyway.

3 washers? You canget different sized washers,

Yeah take one bolt out completley. Then slacken the other one off,

Put washers between the bonnet, and the bracket, not between the bolt and the bracket.

couldnt you just take out the rubber seal and leave the bonnet at standard height?
