thanks m8 will try tomorrow but im happy enough really with this as my friend is paying 2200 on honda civic sir 22 with 2 yrs ncb so cant complain:haha:

mine was 1038euro back in march with 3 years no claims, also with quinn. i was 20 wen i took it out, 21 now.
when i phoned around for my last renewal, quinn were the only ones that would insure me. some companies said i would have to be over 25 (one company said over 30!) the rest just wouldnt insure the car!

yayour in the exact same insurance bracket as me same age ,ncb and look at the difference ,ireland is such a rip off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never really wanted to go tpft i would pay the extra forfully comp just to have peace of mind but let me know how you get on as i will be phoning around tomorrow also

Quinn Direct have put up my Insurance premiums this year. 2 years ago when I got the Glanza it was costing me 1400 euro fully comprehensive.
Last week I got a renewal quote of 1800 euro third party!
I got talking to customer care and they say that insurance rates have changed on this particular vehicle in my area because of claims involving these cars
One Glanza was stolen from a nearby town few months ago and now I'm paying for it.
I will be trying 123.ie as they seem to be getting some of the best quotes these days

its through adrian flux with a company called red star i think
it was £430 standard then declared some of the mods it went up to £530 fully comp

Ive heard this from a lot of people lately. Beware mate! 123 give great quotes €900 for me on a TT supra... but they have a massive excess I think its 6 grand. So if you have a tip in the car you have to pay the first 6 grand of any claim.
It would be worth it if you just couldnt get insurance anywhere else but is risky if you are driving your car every day and could potentially be useless to you in the event of an accident. Imagine you crashed and did 5 grand of damage to someones car... you are on your own.
That is good price,what mods did you tell them about?I rang Quinn and told them had bodykit,alloy wheels,exhaust and it was chipped said they wouldn't quote me..

I hate insurance companies they seem to change their minds every 2 seconds!!
Its even worse when you spend half the day ringing round only to be told by most off them that they wont insure you..
ya have to agree there m8 i mean if they got there way everyone would be driving 1.0 litre cars ,this is the one thing that relly pisses me off big time you actually cant do f*ck all with insurance company only pay and then complain

Mine is €548 fully comp with Quinn Direct declared as turbo too but I have 7 years NCB going back on to my bro's trader policy in November tho, €1500 and drive anything fully comp!!!:rockon::rockon:
