rear light dissasembly?

has anyone done this before?

i have 2 passenger side rear lights that fill with water so i want to take them apart so i can reseal them properly.

are they bonded together or just clipped together?

Hair dryer (or heater gun if you're feeling frisky!), soften it up and they will just pull apart

in the oven at 60celcius for 5 to 10min that will loosen the bondo a bit better then u still need to try to pry it off very carefull

I've only done this with glass headlights after melting tail lights in there HAHA.

What you can also do is just drill a couple of small holes under/behind it (somewhere where it's not seen but able to give a bit of air into the area where the water is going).

Get a bucket, put your light in it, and pour boiling hot water over it and until it submerged. After a minute or so start prising it open, keep a kettle boiling at hand and keep pouring over the lamp to get that glue softened. It's a real strong glue and takes some cleaining off once opened
