hiya,

i want to remove the big glanza sticker on the side of the car,
what is the safe was by doing this and what stuff will i have to use ??.
allso what are the effects after takein the sticker off, will u still see the outline of the glanza sticker,

can some one give me a step by step that be great,

Use a hair dryer on the sticker until it heats up and the glue that binds it onto the panel starts to become soft. Use your finger nail to pick at the sticker until you can get a catch on it and peel it back slow so you dont tear it.

Use petrol, lighter fluid, or you can buy a specialist glue removal fluid. Ur choice dude. It shouldt leave any marks behind but if the car has been sitting in direct sunlight alot and the paint has faded you will see an outline of the decal as the paint behind it would not have been exposed to the sunlight as much as the rest of the paintwork.

Had mine removed only because i had to do one side of the arche cos of rust. On the other side the sticker has been removed too, apparently it took the bodywork guy hours to get it off cos it has been sitting there for like 11 years since the car has been made. But yes one side which wasn't sprayed, left a fresh paint mark underneath, so everytime u look at different angles, u can still see the glanza word :p

i removed mine by a hairdryer and a credit card heat up and peals off quite easy then got some tar remover to get rid of any glue left and hey presto its gone :)

thanks alot people for the info, i shall get on a do this, becuase my are old i want to put fresh ones on there.
does any one knw where i can get the glanza sticker set *2*
just a recap its the glanza sticker on the side of the car, does any 1 have a part number ?

easy way is kettle of boiling water,pick it off and use auto glym tar remover to take away any marks. simple

a heat gun or a hairdryer will take them of but i hav seen before ware the quater panel has been sprayed and looks like its been laquerd over so dont now how you would get dat of make sure your quater panels havent been painted if it does leave a mark u could always get the car buffed shud take away any marks behind u can get them stickers on ebay seen them before

if you think tar remover ain't flammabe pour some on yourself than light a match and you will soon change your mind.
I didn't think you could still get the glanza stickers, but i'm not sure. I think they've been on ebay from time to time tho but i think they were copies.

or does it look different as any one bought the one off ebay ?
