also cannot give specs as there are so many different variations of clio sport. I wouldnt post on clio sport something like your last post as you will get roasted. do your research on there first mate

came in the 172, the 172 cup and the 182.
172 is obviously 172 bhp. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds. came with air con, half leather and usual extras.
172 cup was like the 172 but did not have the more luxurious extras. had cloth seats. no air con. special cup lightweight wheels and no light washer jets. thats right washerjets for your lights! did 0-60 in a quicker time of 6.5 seconds.
the 182 was the quicker one. running 182 BHP. 0-60 in 6.0seconds i think.

to be completely honest the clio trophys are really nice cars, will piss on a stock starlet hard!
handle well and go pretty good too,
yes its french and wont ever have the reliability of a jap car but dont slate it till youve tryed it!

An in answer to your question , Si-W, I do. I have a clio cup as well as my Glanza and its a superb car for daily use. Handling is superb , my main commute is on a B Road , has good performance and best of all i get 40+ mpg out of it.

My mate's got one (Trophy), haven't been in yet, but I know it will handle far better than any Starlet I've been in... However, won't stop me from proving that my car's far faster...

a clio trophy will piss over most things around a track, absolute weapons, or a cup on coilies. My mates trophy was lapping the ring sub 9 mins. Thats with the stock sach suspension. just uprated discs and pads.

I've been in a 2.0 Clio with twin DCOE 48's, sounded awesome!!! Quick car, but wouldn't like to fix it when it went wrong. Very tight engine to work on!!!!
