Revs not matching.......

Hey all,

I have a prosport tacho gauge fitted into my car and i have noticed that the revs differ by 500ish revs accross the range against the cluster after 2000rpm. I have had the car mapped at tuning developments and the limiter on the tacho reads 7200rpm were as the cluster reads 7800rpm. Do i need the cluster rev counter claibrated? Or has anyone else found this?

As i am pretty sure they should read the same lol!

thanks

just pull the needle off and move it so it reads the same. if its a linear amount out across the range its not a problem
