RPM signal and speed signal wires?

Got a HKS type 1 turbo timer and there's two extra wires on it, one for speed and one for revs, any idea how to wire these two up? Thanks.

Revs go to the ECU, IG-.

Speed can be picked up there as well but its just a pulsed signal from the clocks so it may not suit. Look for an ECU pin out diagram in the awfully helpful section electrical forum.

Have it all hooked up at the moment, revs working grand and I had the speed hooked up to the revs first and they were moving up and down to..

One problem is the car won't let me calibrate the speed and the revs.

I calibrate the revs at the 2000 rpm mark and when i set it says when i'm idling at say 1000 i'm at 3000, and when i'm at 2000 and i'm 4000?

Speed just isn't working then at all? Help please.

Found the problem, had the speed to the wrong wire and now I'm sure the RPM is to thr wrong wire, what colour wire should it be going to?

I tried NE and it got a reading, 2500 rpm off though, just need to find IGT and see if there's power off that one.
